Upgrade or not?

After a bit of advise??? My currnet rig is in my signature, I am stuck at this point on if I should upgrade or not...

I have been looking at the I5/I7's but think for £500+ am i really going to see much of a gain other than in video editing etc.

I mainly game and do a little video conversions from time to time so do you think i should stick with my current set up and wait to see if the prices come down??

Well, what are your thoughts?

Certainly you'll get more performance out of an i5 or i7, but do you find what you have at the moment to give insufficient performance/encoding speed for you?
