i build my rig about 3 years back and has been running sweet as a nut, but in the last month i have been getting artifacts and random gpu crashes

i mainly use it for games (l4d,fallout nv,stallker and world of tanks)

right now i'm looking a the ati 7850 but will the rest of my system bottleneck it? or is it best to do a full rebuild?

cpu: amd phenom 11 x2 550be oc'ed to 3.8
heatsink: mugen 2 rev.b
mobo: msi 790fx-gd70
gpu: radeon 4850
ram: g.skill ddr3-1600 pc3-12800 2x2gb

case: antec 1200
psu: antec tp-650
speaker: logitech LS11
monitor: viewsonic vx2260wm
windows 7 home premium 64bit

well after reading most of the threads on here/reviews and confusing myself (it's amazing in just 3 years how fast tech and prices have changed) i might drop the ssd, i happy with my boot time and change the ram to samsung green to help oc,ing

is the tim that comes with the i5 any good or is it best to get something like mx-2?

i'm going to wait till piledriver is released and see how they perform in the mean time i will get a s/h gpu(4870,4870x2,ect)
