Upgrade or source a replacement cable?

ok so i'm looking to do my once a decade upgrade (can see where this is going). Currently running a superflower 1000w psu (sf-1000f14mp for anyone really interested) but through many moves it appears i've misplaced a cpu power cable. As current upgrades seem to require 2 i'm stuck with the conundrum of do i try and source a cable which seems far harder than it should be or should i just accept the pain that this psu has had a long life and replace the entire thing? I do see there's complete cable kits on ocuk which i assume would work?

Usually the second one is used
For more extreme overclocking so optional
Though there are some boards won't boot without it
But they are probably in the minority

Replacement modular cables must be specifically for that psu
Doesn't matter with extensions
But if its plugged into the psu not an extension it has to be
for that exact model
Or one that you know is definitely 100% compatible
As sadly there's no industry standard for pin outs

I have the same PSU and exactly the same issue.

Bought a second hand 750watt one from Ebay for £25 and used the CPU cable. Spare psu and the right cable :)

Superflower should be fine, but just for the record: I'd be a bit careful with that, because occasionally different OEMs are used for different wattage, even in the same range :o
