Upgrade or wait?

I'm currently running 7970CF for gaming at 1440p, just wondering what the consensus of opinion is around upgrading now (290xCF or 295x2 at these bargain prices), or wait to see what the 390x is like?

Wait for the new line up then decide if you're not struggling with your current setup.

Depends how much the 390's are. I think the 290x were about £450 when they released?

The 2 series cards were mostly just rebranded 79xx cards, and the 3series is hardly a big step up by the looks of it.

I see no reason to upgrade at all for minimal performance increase. its like £100 per 5-10%, waste of money given the current gaming line up, unless of course your going 4k.
