Upgrade path and when to make the jump?

Hi Guys,

I know my current rig is pretty good but would like some more info on a possible upgrade path and when I should make the jump. I am afraid of leaving it too long and finding myself having to upgrade more than a few components.

Currently I have;

AMD 965BE @ 3.8GHZ
Corsair H50
Asus Crosshair III
Corsair Dominator 4GB
WD Black 1TB
Crossfire HD5870's
Antec TruePower 750W

I like to play my games maxed out.

Theres a few cracking games coming out soon and want to be sure im prepared. Ideally I dont want to be turning shadows off etc.

Please advise!

if your talking about skyrim/bf3/mw3 then this is what i would recommend too.

If I was you and looking at what you currently have got, I would wait till you actually try a release copy of the game and see how your system copes.

Also this game is bound to be benchmarked to death by all the tech sites to see what works best, wait and you will get a more affirmative answer on whats needed.

I am running current games no problem, just like being prepared.

I will just have to be a little more patient!

In the same situation myself, its probably better to wait until the games are released but it's just nice to have the assurance that you won't be sitting around for 2 weeks waiting for upgrades while everyone else is enjoying them
