I bought a PC from OC back in 2014 and the GPU seems to be failing. When I play games after a few minutes the screen goes black or I see the notorious blue screen of death. I'm thinking it's time to do a bit of upgrading. I don't play many games on the PC (more of a console gamer) but I like playing things like Civ 5/6 and Stellaris on the PC.
I don't think I need a high-end card, just something that can play in 1080 or 1440 but looking for advice as I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed with all the choices out there.
Also, would it be worth upgrading the CPU and MOBO too? I don't want to spend too much, less than £600 would be great. I just want to be able to play the odd 4X game or try out the odd FPS every now and then.
Any advice would be welcomed!
