Upgrade plan for the new year

Ok so im planning my PC Upgrades for the coming year!

Currently have
16gb of Ram
6950 Toxic
i5 2500k
920 Kuhler
CM Stormtrooper

Thoughts are as follows

Upgrade the GPU, possibly CPU, Change the Kuhler for probably a H100i.

Pretty happy with my case and mobo, wondering if i need to swap the ram for something better, potentially upgrade the CPU to a newer Ivybridge etc, and the 6950 is a nice card but im thinking i should possibly swap to a 79xx or even something newer?

Mainly play MMO's, FPS type games

thoughts guys?
 
I would recommend keeping that graphics card until the next generation of cards come out. If it still plays your games at a reasonable fps then there is no need to upgrade. There doesn't seem to be anywhere to upgrade apart from the cpu and the cooler if you really need that extra 10-20% more power from Ivybridge
 
I have a 120gb SSD as my primary, suppose i could add a 240gb as a games drive, never bothered to get that Intel Rapid tech thing working, might be worth a gander.

Whens the next revision of AMD Cards due? And i guess were good with Intel Chips for a while?
 
AMD 8000 series had been pushed back to mid 2013 last I checked I think. And yes I don't see AMD making a major comeback in the enthusiast / gaming cpu market for a little while, so you should be good with intel chips.
