upgrade problem on witcher 2...

i played the game before a few years ago but not when i play it again i cant upgrade any talents....i have 6 available but i cant put the talents in any skills....
any ideas?

If I remember correctly, at the start of the game only the top section of the skill tree is unlocked. The rest opens up once you get further into the game.

I think you need to fully learn the witcher training tree before you unlock the others

yeah thats how i remember it, but it has only let me unlock one skill at that was right at the start when fighting on the wall. now im just back to the kraken part around level 7 but it wont let me put talents in any skillls..... by this time last play through i had done most of the top tree
