I took the plunge and bought a WS LCD going from a 19" CRT.
The Res I used on the CRT 1600x1200 was really good for me, everything looked small and neat.
I tried 1600x1200 on the LCD but it was banding really bad and the 'stretching' was awful, so I went 1680x1050 which sorted the banding and stretching.
But everything 'looks' like it's at 800x600, it's hard to explain, but in games it's pretty fugly, I've managed to get Windows Res down so it no longer looks like 'My 1st ABC Book', and eventually managed to get Firefox sorted out. But games GUI's and Fonts won't fix at all. Anyone got any idea's? It's the only thing bugging me about the Monitor, and I'm sure there will be some simple 'fix' hopefully
