Upgrade question

im looking to upgrade my graphics card from an nvidia 8800GTX and could use some advice.

ideally i'd want a card that offers a noticeable boost in performance without changing any other components.

current spec:

OC'ed Intel Q6600
4gbs G.skill DDR2 ram
ASUS Maximus Formula Republic of Gamers iX38 motherboard
Coolermaster 850W RealPower Modular PSU
and an 8800GTX of course.

Id suggest a 5850 unless your CPU is tosh then upgrade that 1st

budget is about £200-250

5850 then try asus or msi they have bios unlocked makeing it easy to overclock and tweek voltage

What speed have you overclocked your Q6600 to?

I agree with most people to have noticable different, you'd need to get at least a 5850.
