Upgrade something.

I am currently running the following:

Gigabyte SOC Force Z97
Intel i5 4690k @4.5
16 Gb Corsair Vengeance 2400MHz
AMD 280x

Al of that powers a Dell 4k display.

Primary uses are Lightroom, office, gaming and a bit of Premier Pro.

What you would upgrade?

A new gpu would be a big upgrade especially as you are running at 4k. Seeing as people usually recommend 1080ti's for 4k gaming surely a 280x doesn't manage to game at 4k very well?

Your CPU and RAM are fine. Your 280x will fetch a pretty sum on the bay. Upgrade to 1070 or 1080

To be honest I don't game that much. Lightroom is the primary use but I am having problems with the AMD drivers to the point I have to disable GPU acceleration.

New GPU and an ssd if you don't already have one.
