I already own one GTX470, mouse, keyboard, headset, monitor. I would like to OC the CPU to 4.2 and maybe OC the GPU's a little, but I think they run a little too hot for that. This rig is for gaming, I am upgrading in preparation for Skryrim, Diablo 3 and BF3. I don't do much except gaming using one monitor, occasionally using a second monitor to watch a movie at the same time.

Looks sweet to me.

Just a thought though, have you considered the Corsair AX750 or HX750. Both are modular and would defo be great with cable management.

Plus, the AX750 is 100% modular and all cables are black.

P.S. Get another fan for push/pull config for the CM 212+. Your i5 2500K will thank you for that.

I would be a little scared of 2 x GTX470's in SLI on a 750w PSU I think

Couple things.

1) why a gtx470? good price yes but loud and hot....gtx56oti is almost as powerful in most benchmarks and not much diff in price, and it cooler.

2) Ram, weong type you need 1.5v not 1.65v not make a huge diff to be honest but it can lead to instability at higher overclocks...

3) Case....not a bad one but you might consider others.....corsair ones arent great for air cooling...look silverstones way ...rv02 rv03 maybe.

4) agree with lelouch the 750 would be more than enough and modular would deffo be worth it....

5) blu ray drive might b an idea for the future....

6) mobo is good with that deal, if it ends before you get it look to the gd53 as its cheaper and basically the same board....maybe even look at micro atx boards....but based on ur psu choice i presume sli is in the future?

I do mention at the top of my post that I already own one GTX 470, so the build will be SLI from day one. I know that the 470's are stupidly hot and power hungry but I was forced into upgrading right after the 400 series was released, and since I already have one it seems a massive waste to get rid of if for a 500 series.

Thanks for the heads up on the RAM, I will also look into the Raven cases.

agree with you mate if you already have 1 470 stick with it yes there warm but its not eh end of the world unless you really worry about these things, i have a 480 and i cant see what all the fuss is about with power and heat

Missed that in your first post....fair enough sli gtx 470's is fine although if you wanted to i suppose u could sell the 470 u got and use that money and the £150 on a gtx570? but in all fairness shouldn't matter to much....as the man says with a gd case heat shouldnt be a big issue.
