Upgrading a few parts of my system, here's the new spec:

Core 2 Duo E6420
Asus P5N-E SLi nforce 650
Geil 2GB PC6400 800MHz DDR2
Noctua NH-U12F

Only thing left is the PSU. I know the Corsair would be best but it's a bit out of my price range. So i can have either:
OCZ modstream 450W (which I have atm)
OR
Akasa Ultra Quiet 500W Paxpower Active PFC ATX2.2 PSU (can get for a fiver)

Will these be ok to cope with the oc'd c2d and the rest of my system (7800GTX, 2 sata drives)?

Everything else look OK?

Looks a great setup. Nice cooler decision ;) I'd get the Akasa it allows you to overclock comfortably and run that GTX easily.
You reckon the OCZ would struggle? Its stable atm with a slight cpu and gfx overclock. I really like the modular cabling though which is why I want to keep the OCZ, but obviously if it wont be able to hack it...

Think I may have just stumbled on a problem, just seen the Noctua guide in your sig Mishima and it looks absolutely huge  . Not sure its gonna fit in my case (pretty sure its an Antec SLK3700), and even if it does surely its blocking the rear fan on the case, and you have angled it down which would blow the air coming in at the front intake down away from the rear exhaust fan no?

From the Heatsink base to the edge of the case there is about 18cm space, but this would be right up against the edge of the case, the case itself measures roughly 21cm width, 45cm tall and 47cm long. There doesn't seem to be too much room round the base of the cpu though, gfx card and ram look pretty close. At the moment it is an Asus A8n Premium but it will be an Asus P5N-E. I'm willing to get a new case if you can suggest one for around £50, dont think I can quite stretch to a Lian Li at £70 :(

Excellent, thanks for that Mishima. So thats case and cooler settled. Just need someone to confirm whether my OCZ will be able to cope?
