Ok awesome - changed to a Akasa AK-183-L2B Ultra Quiet 120mm Fan - 3 pin (FG-024-AK) if you know thats better.

Not sure about the cooler tho yet - lets hope it fits!

Sweet.

The new DFI RD580 & Abit RD580 is up for pre-order. Might be a better alternative to the Asus one, which a lot of users have had problems with(see the massive thread in mobo section). The DFI one is rated quite highly. It's a shame OcUK have jacked the price up from £152 (this morning) to £176 (this evening).

Yeah I would love to go DFI but I need the pc before bank holiday and £176 for a mother board is smoking crack territory!

cant go wrong with ASUS m8 ive personally had 3 boards and the have all been fantastic in particular the A8N32-SLI Deluxe

Yep, the Asus SLI boards are rock solid, but the MVP Crossfire has been a mixed bag to be honest.

Have a look at that thread in the mobo section...troublesome to say the least (I suspect that's why they've gone really cheap now)

Or you could just get this, only £70 more and better ram and gfx card. IMO you'll need 512mb gfx card if you wanna game on the NEC, plus why get a crossfire mobo when you've got no intention of going down the dual gfx card route.
