Radeon 9800 Pro
2GB Crosair 400 Ram
Abit NFS-7 Motherboard
AMD ALTHON XP 3200+ CPU

All I really want to upgrade is the CPU/MOBO/ GFxC .

I use the pc for , CS:S / wow , Photoshop/dreamweaver and Online poker .

My Budget is very limited around £400 / £500 . I read through the sticky threads and still could use some advise from the people! i.e what works well together and best value for money .

I have a 500W PSU in good working order , Case , lovely 19inch TFT , Just really need to upgrade those parts .

The problem is if your PSU isnt a 380W+ one from a decent make you may have to up your budget to £550 or lower the graphics card (possibly an x1800xl or lower)

whats the make/model of your current PSU mate?

as said already, if its a poorly made value/budget PSU then it may not cut the cake at that level of performance (despite being labelled a 500w PSU).
