Was just wondering If this was the best possible upgrade for around £700? - I couldn't see any flaws with it myself, needed double checking. Thanks ;)
I have all the other components, hard drives, graphics card (GTX285) and case already.

what are you upgrading from? There are a few good bundles on sale at min, i myself went for the I5 over clocked bundle for £389 which is chip, mobo, ram and cooler....i think there are certainly cheaper options i just build a whole new system for £700 which should be here tuesday i hope LOL

You could do a similar build for cheaper if you went for this bundle, and a cheaper PSU like this one..

That comes to around £659..

At least with the bundles, you get a chip that is guaranteed to do 3.8GHz.

Well my current PSU is the Tagan 520 modular one and it's 3 years old this week.... just like most of my system (E6600, 2GB RAM, S775)
I got a 4GB ram kit but it doesn't work with this motherboard so I thought I may aswell upgrade to quad core / 4 - 8 GB ram and then sell the current stuff.

Currently doing lots of editing / encoding / programming and then of course gaming on weekends / evenings...

Plus I have £700 spare cause of the tax man being nice :p - so this is a pretty solid upgrade don't you think?

Keep the PSU you have listed and go with Davyboy on the bundle, its good value and an instant overclock if you like :)
