hi, got to that point where I started to look at my system again after 2 years and thought I'd do little bit of cheap upgrading. See sig for specs.

Want to upgrade the RAM (currently got 1GB) want 2 GB.

Now I know my mobo aint the best but it's stable and works well for me and was considering this upgrade

My question is : is there anything else I can put in this system that would help (memory wise) or should I be looking at a complete rebuild with anoher mobo & processor etc?

Thanks for all you help.

You can try to get a cheap dual core second hand. A lot of people are moving from socket 939, which means there's some cpus available.

The memory is fine though.

No no that memory amount is very poor these days... and i'm not just saying that because i have 12GB.
You can get 4GB DDR2 800MHz for around £35! so theres no reason not to upagrade.

I'd save up for a new mobo, CPU, and RAM though.. but it all depends if you need it? depends what you use your PC for.
