Hey all,

I currently have a BFG 7800GT fitted with a zalman vf700 which clocks quite well, but I am planning to upgrade my monitor shortly to a 20.1" WS TFT and i'd quite like to upgrade my graphics card at the same time. I really want to play games like CoD2/HL2/FEAR/WoW/NFS:MW as maxed out as I can get them running on the native res of my new TFT when I get it.

But i'm rather debating whether I should sell my 7800GT now which it's still worth something and get perhaps two x1800 XT's in Xfire, one x1900 XT, or maybe even two x1900 XT's in xfire. I have a seasonic 600W PSU so it should be handle the drain :P

Thing is I could probably afford two X1900 XT's but i'm not sure I wanna go quite that far, I mean my 7800GT is not bad, and an x1800 is better, and two x1800's will own. Guess I just wanna purchase them at a good value/buck ratio. Would two x1800's work out better performance per money spent than two x1900 xt's?

Also which mobo to get if I do decide to go Xfire. I really wanna get rid of this Asus A8N-E as I seem to have some issues with it anyways especially when I overclock. I'd rather spend a bit extra and get a nice mobo which can handle a mild overclock (my x2 3800 is currently at 2.4ghz) and has a passively cooled northbridge or is a mobo which allows me to install a zalman NB Cooler without pin bending.

cheers,
