Hiya all,
time to upgrade, and the only games I play are UT - UT2004, Pacific Fighters and some other stuff...big question is, with my 17" TFT is it worth going SLI or shall I just stick with a single card? Going to get a low(ish) end S939 cpu to start with...

You be better off putting the money that a second card would cost to buying a new bigger LCD..

at 17 inches i really think sli or crossfire is over kill even a high end card like a nvidia 7900 gtx or a ati x1900xtx on there own would proberly be to much. at your resolutions you would be better getting a lower end card and a larger monitor say 19 inches.

Are you a borrower. :D

Well I was thinking of being able to crank up the AA etc.
Also, would like to run PS3 stuff, and it runs fairly badly at moment on my Athlon 2ghz, X800 Pro system...

Would 2 lowish end SLI cards be better than one X1800/1900???
