Upgrade Time :D

Hi

Thinking to upgrade my gfx card.

Seen a Sapphire Radeon 290X Tri-X OC 4GB for sale. Did read a few reviews. Am i right to think that this card is inbetween a GTX780 and a GTX780ti in performance?

Worried about the length as my case should just fit. Also i would imagine quite a peformance boost from my current GTX 580?

Yes mate that's right, the X is just a few percent off the Ti and the Tri-X has a great cooler. Good upgrade man

The 290x deal fell through but managed to get a really good deal on Gigabyte GTX 780 ti windforce OC. Card was surprisingly easy to slot in. Practically slotted itself in snug fit. Going to see how much of a difference this beast is going to make.
