Upgrade time, help appreciated

Hey guys. It's reached that time where my PC's starting to show its age, so I need to upgrade. Right now, I'm running with:

Intel Core i7 930 CPU
Asus Rampage II Extreme Motherboard
G.Skill Ripjaw (3x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C8 1600MHz
EVGA GeForce GTX 460 1024MB GDDR5 (replacing a broken 470)
Antec TruePower New Modular 750W '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply

I'm wanting to replace the CPU, graphics card, mobo and RAM, and the power supply if it needs it (though if it doesn't then using the money elsewhere would be nice). I'd like it to be as futureproof as possible (I know, I know

), to be used for gaming, as well 3D modelling and Photoshop work.

Budget's about £1000, though right now about £70's earmarked for a Coolermaster V8 GTS from elsewhere. In terms of preferences, I'm used to Intel/Nvidia, but I'm not averse to swapping to AMD/ATI if they're the better choice nowadays. Oh, and red and black stuff would be nice, to match my HAF X if possible

I have to say this too, that V8 GTS is the ugliest thing i have ever seen.. seriously. The Silver arrow will KILL it performance wise and it looks a hell of a lot better too..

Only thing i would add to the above is another set of the ram if your 3d modelling, otherwise, spot on.

Your psu will do just fine.

Red megahalems also looks very nice and can vouch for its performance, as I have black version :-)

Thanks guys, spec looks good. Good to hear my PSU's still up to snuff too

Regarding the cooler's looks; different strokes I guess. Personally I like the V8 GTS (using a normal V8 right now), but think that Silver Arrow looks pretty terrible, especially those orange fans

Yeah your PSU is still a good unit.

Fair enough, each to there own. I just gave you my opinion.. Though the SA (silver arrow) will outperform the V8 GTS..
