Upgrade time... hmmmm

Ok, I have cobbled together a bit of cash and want to upgrade my comp...

It comes down to getting either a Q6600 and a new mobo + cooler, or upgrading my graphics card and getting a 24 inch monitor.

Current specs are athlon x2 5200 clocked at 3Ghz, and an 8800 GTS 320mb on a 19 inch monitor.

Currently my monitor is used for my xbox 360 mainly, and some rendering work. Which one do you think would give me the most love?

For rendering the Q6600 is probably going to give you the most benefit but your existing CPU is hardly slow so I might be tempted to go with the bigger monitor.

as above, your system is hardly slow, I'd go for the new monitor, unless its likely to be a long time before you can upgrade again
