Upgrade time, is it worth it?

I only need to change my mobo (IP35 pro) cpu (Q6600 OC 3.0ghz) & gpu (4890)

On a budget so not looking to spend a penny over £300, lower the better, is it worth it or wait awhile for new tech to come out to push down the price of cheaper stuff?

If you are upgrading to anything modern, you need to get DDR3 memory as well, as DDR2 memory don't work on modern boards.

Also, in case you haven't noticed by now, things like CPU and motherboard they don't drop in price even with new gens arrived...just look at the Core2 stuffs' prices at new.

Wait for at least another month when bulldozer will hopefully have been reviewed. That's my opinion anyway

Cheers guys, yeah I know about the DDR3, I'm in no rush just got some spare cash and I want BF3 looking its full glorious glory when it comes out

Saving up for another month will also mean you can get better setup
