Well was looking forward to upgrading to Haswell but after reading a lot of the comments on here I am feeling rather disappointed. What would be the best upgrade for me at the moment...I do mostly gaming with a bit of dvd burning and watching blue rays etc etc

Am I right in thinking that x79 is the most powerful set up available today?...would that be a good upgrade....or would keeping my current set up be better and just upgrading the cpu.........I know a new GPU is needed and will probably jump to a GTX670 when I decide which way to go

Any opinions most welcome

My I5 is not struggling with anything....I just have a bit of a windfall coming and want something better so I want to know what people would go for if they had the choice...would it be X79 or ivybridge with the current set up or Haswell

thx

thx guys

8pack....I am thinking of getting a second gtx660...if I do are you saying that would be better served with x79 kit?
