Upgrade time! Need advice please!

So as the title says im desperate for a upgrade on my pc.
I mainly use it as Game machine and media player (movies etc).
But my problem is im on a very tight budget ... Probaly the best is to buy a compleet new system. But as said i cant afford that atm. My budget is at max 300€..wich is 249.054 GBP according to some google converter

So here it goes (and dont laught at my current systeem please!)i bought around 5/6 years ago.

*c2d e6600 @ 2.4Ghz (stock)
*2GB DDR2 OCZ RAM (dont ask me the mhz cuz i dont know)
*some random case
*550W OCZ powersupply
*Nvidea 8800GTS 640MB
*500GB HDD(i guess 4.200RPM?)
*a Jetway???? mobo (neverheard of it before but thats what it says.)
* 17inch LCD screen

I have no intend on OC'ing as i have no idea how to. I do want to learn but not untill i got a spare PC to try it on. Cant afford to ruin this Furthermore i want to be able to play the new DX11 games on med/high settings and run Guildwars 2 (wich is comming this year somewhere prolly Q4 2011) on full settings with great FPS.

So would you guys advice me to upgrade ? or save untill i got enough to do a decent system all over again could u tell me what a nice number of euro's would i need to buy a PC to forfill my needs thanks in advance guys !<3

Look on the MB and it should have a model number printed on it,same with the ram it should have the speed normaly on a small sticker on it.post back what you find

I would look at Athlon II X4 630 ~£80
MSI 880GM-E41 ~£50
Corsair XMS3 4GB 16000MHz DDR3 ~£35
HD5770 ~£90

-Just- in budget, and will do all you ask of it.

All you need to do is use your current case, psu, optical drive, hdd.

Or, if you want, sell your current rig and use the money from that to increase your budget.

Alright ill loook it up tonight! when i get home...at school right now.
But before i would buy stuff is it realy worth the 300 euro to upgrade to AMD athlon ...or could i better save up for 2 more months to like 600/700 euro.. so i newtech instead of old tech??
