upgrade time (please help)

Heya guys

Been out of the hardware scene for about 3 years now. im looking to upgrade my cpu. mobo. ram and gc. i think (will check when i get home) that ive got a 600/700 watt psu. im looking to spend about 500 ish pounds (maybe more) any suggestions please

if you're using it for gaming it would be worth holding off for a bit as new gfx cards are due for release in the next month or so.

is the psu a decent make or cheapo no name ?

basics would look at either a q6600 or a wolfdale 8200, abit ip35 pro, 4 gb (2x2gb) pc6400 memory, after market cooler (depending on if you plan to overclock either a Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro or something high end like the tuniq tower), at the moment gfx card wise 8800GT (if you have a 22" monitor or above i'd change it to an 8800GTS).
