Upgrade time, What CPU?

Hi everyone,

Looking to upgrade very soon. All i will need is Mobo and CPU and it will be used for gaming.

I've been looking around and i think it is safe to say for a mobo the B450 Tomahawk Max is the way to go.
CPU is a different matter!. I'm not sure what one to get, Either 3600x/3700x/3800x?.
any help would be great.

I already have;
2080ti
16gb ddr4 3200 corsair Vengeance lpx
case and all the other stuff.

Of those, I'd get the 3700X for the 8 cores.

The 3700X and the 3800X are so similar I couldn't justify paying the extra for the 3800X. You might be able to.

you need ever the 9900k or 3700x to fully stretch the legs on that GPU
