Not worth it if it can do everything you use it for.

Would you upgrade your car if there nothing wrong with the one you have?....

You would if it was a race car and you were looking for that extra tenth. ;) :D

However, I'd only upgrade that rig if I had more money than sense. Save up for DX10 and Kentsfield. :)

And if you were in an overclocking competition you'd want the best PC, but we're not talking about a competition here are we?....

Makes no sense whatsoever to upgrade when there's no need, other then giving into the upgrade bug, i've been telling myself i don't need an upgrade for the last few months, damn conroes are tempting.

In reality though, anything i use, doesnt really stress the system... not to an extent where i get impatient, so for me i'd be wasting money upgrading.

I suppose thats what it comes down to, does the system you have struggle in its use?..... thats for you to answer though.

My venice 3200 is the fastest PC ' i've owned ', and i'm happy with the performance. I can burn a disk, whilst watching a film, checking email and browsing the web, then maybe open up another few aps, and it deals with it fine, so why would i need more?.... for showing off?... nah thanx...
