I was thinking of a little upgrade to my PC. You can see the spec in my sig. I was thinking of moving to PCI-E with a new motherboard (probably an ASUS) and a 512 7950.
Seeing as I spend the vast majority of my PC time playing CSS, does this seem like a good idea? If not, do you have any other suggestions?
Many thanks as usual :)

I'm not totally sure on CSS's requirements but I wouldn't have thought that a 7950 was necessary. However what is your budget here, you might be as well to upgrade all core components.

Well it might work out to be not that much more expensive once you factor in selling existing parts to upgrade to a new CPU, motherboard (some support DDR I believe still) and possibly Ram as well as the graphics card.

I was going to continue to use all the other parts, and upgrade my sons PC with the 6800gt, asus a8v mobo and a spare amd 3500 cpu I have sitting around :)
