Upgrade time?

I am feeling like an upgrade, what is letting me down with this system? I am going to upgrade the graphics card but should the RAM or CPU need upgrading? What will make the biggest impact? (I am using Vista) Also I am a silent PC guy, would the latest CPU's run much cooler than the E6400?

RAM and CPU are fine. Go for an 8800 GTS 512 MiB. You'll be blown away.

Thats excatly the one I am buying actually! So once I have that no need to any other upgrades? What would speed up vista a bit, the RAM or CPU? (Or is that just Vista!?)

An extra 2gb Ram would probably help, assuming Vista 64bit and you would then see all of it, if not then you'd see somewhere slightly below 3.5gb in Windows.

If you were going to overclock then you could change the motherboard but given your requirements so far I'm guessing you aren't likely to do that as it might up the noise level.
