Hi folks, I'm on the verge of making the jump to i7 from my couple of years old C2D, I've been looking at this bundle: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=BU-011-OE&groupid=701&catid=339&subcat=

I'll like some suggestions for cooling the CPU, will the stock cooler that comes with the CPU be ok or should I consider changing it for somthing else.
I'm after something wisper quiet as the PC case is on the desk next to my monitor and I've previously rebuilt to keep the noise down, I'll be recycling my Hiper Osiris case if helps.

Thanks

Thanks Kennysevenfold, I'll have a look at that spec.
Is the Noctau quiet, I don't want someting that sound like a tornado passing by.

Cheers

Thanks guys, thats the cooler sorted then I'll be getting Noctua. Now all I've got to do is make up my mind on the motherboard, I have to say I've always been a fan of Gigabyte boards, I'll have to do a bit more research before I hit the buy it button.

The Gigabyte UD4 & UD4P are pretty good what I am lead to beleive.

I'm looking at the UD4P as it's got 8 SATA slots, I'll be installing 3HDDs 3 DVD Roms so that will leave 2 spare slots to install the external connector so I can just plug in another drive when I need to move some data around.

Cheers
