Upgrade Time!

[16-bit]

Hey Guys,

It's been been a few years but it's finally time for an upgrade!
Looking to replace CPU,RAM and Mobo as I can move them to the work machine. Not planning to overclock and looking to spend around £300.

Current Spec:
CPU: Core2Duo E6600 2.4
RAM: 2x2GB DDR2 RAM
GFX: ATI 5770
PSU: Corsair HX 520

ZOMG A 7770...

if your into overclocking you could get an amd quad core for that, but if your not i'd get one of the ocuk overclocked bundles such as:

Doesn't look like there's much that can beat that price, only annoying thing would be bios updates voiding and reconfiguring for more ram.

Would this be a significant performance increase(games & movies)?
