What's needed:

Everything except a sound card and DVD drives

The system will be mainly used for uni work and general browsing/multimedia

Decent enough graphics card needed to power a 27" monitor at 2560*1440 too.

Is it possible? Any help would be appreciated!

OS is not needed indeed, however is there any other graphics card that would be able to handle that reso? There'll be no gaming on this system

If your not gaming and using the i5-3570k you wouldnt really need a dedicated graphics card the onboard graphics should be good enough.
