Hey,

im wanting to upgrade my Motherboard/CPU/Ram(8gig) and just wondering if you guys can give me a few tips or suggestions. Im looking to get a Ivybridge I5 3570k so Motherboard wise it would be a h77/z77(sli & xfire) would also be nice), if possible im looking for a board which is black or red&black to stay with my colour scheme. And same for the Ram (I have a Coolmaster hyper 12 so im guessing low profile ram would be easyer to fit)

If possible id like to keep this as close to £300 as possible.

What CPU / motherboard are you using at the moment and what will you be using the computer for?

The motherboard i have atm is from a Packard Bell Ixtreme computer purcahsed in 2006 (Phoenix) i think it was, my cpu is a Q6600.

I use my PC for gaming everyday.

Or if you really don't like the blue
YOUR BASKET
1 x Intel Core i5-3570K 3.40GHz (Ivybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor (77W) - Retail £184.99
1 x MSI Z77 MPower Intel Z77 (Socket 1155) DDR3 ATX Motherboard £144.98
1 x Corsair Vengeance Low Profile 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (CML8GX3M2A1600C9) £29.99
Total : £371.36 (includes shipping : £9.50).

ASUS ROG boards are all black and red if your desperate for some red in there.
The Maximus V Gene is the cheapest, its M-ATX if that bothers you, but has great reviews.

Thanks for all the replys people, some nice choices to choose from

Oh one more question, since the motherboard has 4 ram slots does that mean it would be possible to use high profile ram? Since it could be located away from the cpu heatsink fan
