I'm keeping the psu and the gpu, I'll look to upgrade to maybe a 7850 soon. Interested in people's thought's, especially the case. Don't really want to spend much more on a case if I can help it, but if there's a good reason then could go further. I'd like it to be as cool and quiet as possible.

Thanks

Thanks guys. I'm really liking that antec case, could be tempted to go the little extra to get that. As for the ssd, I've never had one, but have read a lot of horror stories about sandforce controllers so I'd be wary about that kingston drive. I've had gigabyte boards the last couple of times, I guess I just fancied a change. Never had a problem with them so I guess there is no reason to go with a different manufacturer.

I know it's difficult to say, but what sort of reasonable overclock would I get out of the cpu on the gigabyte board, without over volting?

Hi jpod

Thing is I have a friend who's pc sounds like it's on it's last legs. Plan is to give him mine bar the psu and graphics card, have spares I can put into it.

Thanks for all the advice guys. Looked at a few reviews of the antec case and I'm really liking it, especially for the cable management, so don't mind spending a bit extra on that. Would finally love to build a computer that's got a really clean look. I usually just bosh it all together, I did cable tie the one I have now though.

Nothing will happen this week, I'm away on training for the rest of the week now.
