hi all, not been on for a long time, anyway i think its about time i upgraded from my current system, i am currentky running

q6600 @ 3.2ghz
gigabyte ga-p43-es3g
evga 260 gtx
4 gb geil ddr2 ram

so looking at upgrading to

Intel Core i5-3570K 3.40GHz (Ivybridge)
ASRock Z77 Extreme4 Intel Z77 (Socket 1155)
Kingston HyperX Genesis Grey 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit

i am currently cooling cpu nb and gpu, gpu has full cover block and am thinking that this card might still have a bit of life left in it?
i have a d-tec v1 block on the cpu, this is obvously in the 775 format for the q6600, with the mobo i have picked you have the option to use a cooler of the 775 fixing, would this still be up to doing the job?

any other better options? should i also upgrade the gpu at the same time?

cheers shorts

Buy a Gigabyte motherboard, better warranty service and arguably better build quality.

EDIT: Stulid snap :p

ok cool that looks good, and recommendations for a new cpu block?

what about the gtx260, time for an upgrade or still good?

cheers
