Upgrade time

Currently have a GTX560Ti 1gb and while it hasn't given any hiccups so far, I feel it's lacking a bit with my resolution (2560*1440).

Would I be better off going for perhaps a second hand GTX580 or just purchasing a brand new 660Ti/670? How much would VRAM take effect at this resolution?

Any information/recommendations would be appreciated

How much better would the 670 fare over the 660Ti?

It seems like a big difference in price although there doesn't seem to be enough of an increase in performance for that price. Please correct me if I am overseeing something here though.

I've always been an Nvidia fanboy personally, I think i'll opt for the 670 in a few months time, or perhaps something else is in the works due to be released soon?
