So it's hit that time of year when I've got spare cash to upgrade my pc. With BF4 coming out I've narrowed it down to either a new CPU or a new graphics card.

Currently I've got a Nvidia GeForce 560ti and a Intel i3. What would give me the biggest bang for my buck?

I'm currently running 8gb of ram just now that's why I'm not upgrading that :)

Thanks
Dan

This may annoy you somewhat but the answer is both...

Upgrading the GPU will give you better FPS in the game but it will be bottlenecked by the CPU (so you may not even see any increase).

Whereas upgrading the CPU will give you very little overall gain in FPS but will ensure you GPU is not bottlenecked.

The ideal situation is a new GPU and CPU.

What budget do you have?
What motherboard do you have?
Are you going to be overclocking?
What PSU do you have?

Motherboard and PSU I'll need to answer when I gray home from work tonight, I've not overclocked before but I'd give it a shot. And budget probably £200-£300

Thanks for the quick reply guys :)
