Upgrade time

Hi guys - budget £300

I'm currently running
HIS HD 7950
8 gigs ram
I5 2500k at 4.3ghz
Two Samsung SSD's

I play most modern titles but I struggle a little at higher settings in COD and world of Warcraft drops to 25fps sometimes - it clearly hates Amd cards.

Could you folks let me know what you would do here? I'm guessing most answers will be buy a 970 or i7 cpu but I would really welcome some

My advice is to get a stronger GFX card first and see how that does.

GTX970 or R9 290/290X etc.

Check it fits in your case and your PSU is upto the job.

I've got a beefy corsair true power psu so not too worried on that front.

Could you guys give me a recommendation for which 970 to get please? I'm happy to use afterburner to overclock it
