Currently RX480, going to upgrade monitor to a larger 4K

Max £300

Don't mind red or green

sorry to ask but I have no idea what's going on in the market

your looking at mid range cards

Nvidia
xx60

AMD
X6XX

both of which are getting imminent refreshes. nvidia 3060 is waiting 3070 to release to end & for AMD to announce there x6xxx card this month

wait till the end of the month for new gen cards. if you need to buy now your looking at 2060/5600xt

please reviews reviews and make you own choice, i wont influence your decision :)

Problem is, they've totally botched the launch of the new generation. Doubt you will get one this year.
Maybe better off picking up something second hand from the members market.

2080tis are going for 500 so would like to think they are round 300 as 3070 will be 2080ti+ for 450 ?

amd cards should be fine and well within budget. wait...a few days see how they fair. last thing id be doing is buying a dear 2000 series card only to find out in weeks is a newer amd card which is cheaper and better.

I have just picked up a EVGA 1080 Ti Hybrid FTW3 for £240 with 11gb Vram it handles all my games at 4k perfectly fine... but yea wait in till the end of the month let AMD show their cards and Nvidia will no doubt react..

OP
Personally I’d advise you saving up whilst you wait and getting something better - but it’s your call
But it will be weeks and weeks until you get the card - even if you ordered it now, save up a bit bud you’ll be glad you did
