Hi.Been looking to upgrade my 2013 set-up(i5-3570k). Budget around 600-750, Playing at 1080p, not new titles, just some LOL, DIABLO, using a lot of android emulators (LDPlayer, Bluestacks).I already have a case(Lian Li D600) PSU (evga 750), case fans, and a few SSD. I am open to both AMD and Intel. Still rocking the gigabyte 7950 (been unlucky with FE drops). Thank you.

If you're happy to keep case, psu, and SSDs (not worth getting an nvme on a tight budget if you've already got SSDs imo) then I'd do something like:

12400F (not stocked by OcUK yet...) ~£165

Total: £574.40 (includes delivery: £10.50)

Comes to ~ £740

There's a WiFi version of that motherboard available for slightly more money if it's needed.

Might be able to reuse your current cpu cooler depending on what it is and if an updated mounting bracket is available...

Also worth nothing gpu prices seem to be coming down at the moment, so if you hold off a little bit longer you might save a little bit (although they're already much better than they have been).

If we're taking out of the equation the graphics card, the i5 12400F is the way to go, if not then I'd go for the i3 12100F to save more money for the GPU.

Yeah I'd agree the 12100F would be a good option to save a bit more for the gpu if you wanted more power in that area.

If you meant what could you get for 600-750 without a gpu then you could get a 12600K, mid-range Z690 mobo (eg Aorus Elite ddr4), 32gb ddr4 RAM (eg Kingston Fury Beast 3600mhz c18), and a 280mm Arctic Liquid Freezer AIO cooler.

Yes without gpu same budget.

I'd go something like below.
Z690 board has pcie5 gpu slot for future upgrades/or if you upgrade hopefully make it more desirable for selling 2nd hand. It can take 4 nvme ssd's,3 x gen 4, 1 x gen 3
the 12600k outperforms the 8 core AMD 5800X which costs more. It's a solid board more than capable of running a 12600. A step up would be something like the MSI Z690 tomahawk or Asus Tuf gaming boards at £260/£270 which have beefier vrm's and run cooler if putting in a 12900
put the arctic freezer 2 aio in(best bang for buck but not prettiest)..no rgb or anything, but fits in top of your case...you can mount a 360 on the side I believe. Not sure if you're bothered with rgb at all...360mm would be £30 more
You could get 32gb ballistix 3200C16 elsewhere for £99.98, but they've just gone out of stock. For some reason the kingston rgb sticks below are cheaper than the non rgb version.
Added a good solid 1tb gen4 nvme. When directstorage for games gets implemented, it'll only work on nvme drives, pcie3 or above.

Oh, if you don't need wifi, you can get non wifi version of board for £20 less, though away, non wifi seen for £160, wifi £190
