HI all,

I am tempted to upgrade my pc but maybe its time to start over again..

Budget 1500/2000

Specs

Gigabyte Z370P
I7-8700k 3.7Ghz
Corsair RM Series RM850 850 Watt
Gigabyte Radeon RX 6700 XT
Vulcan 32gb DDR4
Acer 1080p 144hz 27" Monitor

I want to be able to stream and play games at high FPS.

Any advice appreciated.

Thanks

Cooler: this.

Motherboard does not have flashback, so might be unsuitable for 14th gen CPUs "out of the box".

I included 64GB just because you already have 32GB. You could re-use the memory and get a DDR4 motherboard.

If you're happy to re-use your Corsair, I'd dump the PSU in my spec, same goes for the case.

Your existing graphics card is a pretty good match for 1080p, but I think you'll need at least a 7900 GRE, just so that the upgrade is meaningful.

Keep your power supply, change components to the below, maybe upgrade monitor to 1440p.

The ,4070ti is perhaps ram limited, but in bench marks it's pretty much level with the 7900xt and costs much less (at least on OCUK)

Your remaining parts can then be sold, you'll get a couple hundred back for the 6700xt

if you're using nvenc for stream encoding, there's nothing that comes close with radeon.
depending on how hardcore your streaming is, this may tilt in favour of nvidia
