so yeh im upgrading although my system isnt too bad i like me some new stuff...

after being told about the gigabyte GA-P35C-DS3R and checking it out ive become quite fond of it, this blows my last idea (going sff) but i like a big case n shizz, but yer im thinking of getting that...

For hard drive im thinking of upgrading to 2 x 320GB seagate barracuda's a mate has them n loves them so i think what the hell :P anyone got any better i shal gladly look n decide :)

im also getting the Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 PRO which im not toooooo fond of but my mate also has that n gets like 20 idle on his E6600, i use this chip on a Scythe infinity n get 35 idle 45 under load fan on low etc etc etc...ill also if someone has a better one go for the other :D
another reason is the coper on the bottom of my infinity has gone all, uhm horrible n manky :(

my motherboard does random things, my mic jack etc stop working, usb the lot realy tis bare anoying :( hence the new mobo...

having to go vista sighface i purchsed somemore geil at a steal of £25 so i have a total of 4GB :P

im also thinking of getting some other bits n bobs that may give my system a bit of a kick well open to suggestions if you want?

as from my sig im runing ze old GTS but tis still sexeh XD n 2 x WD

i use a thermaltake shark i purchased a bit ago as a case obv n wudnt mind replacing the fans if anyone has any ideas what to go for?

Just and idea you might want to list exactly what you want people to spec you as its a bit hard to tell, reading everything there, also less of the text speak and you're more likely to get a response. I'm not trying to be harsh just trying to help:). I like and recommend my case the NZXT Zero its big has lots of fans and is quite. Oh and gorgeous too! :)

EDIT: The motherboard looks nice however I was wondering why the two 320gbs? Why not one large for storage and a smaller for os etc. The freezer pro 7's are good, but also take a look at the tuniq towers. As for the fans are you talking about case fans?

P.s. Still try and cut down on the text speak, its not to well recieved here and typing properly enables you to think harder about how ledgable your post is. If your spelling or grammar is bad thats fine but it just shows you put in the effort.

i dont know ive always like them and ive seen a few charts and things which put them on top of most others and close to the raptors + im forever running out of space i do a bit of video editing n things :(

Ok ok. for your kit you currently have there I would look at;

Mother boards

Asus P5K Premium
or
Asus P5k-E
or
Abit IP35 Pro
or
Abit IP35

Hard drives: The barracuda's are good but I would also consider the Samsung's or the Hitachi's.

The freezer Pro 7 is a good cooler and as I previously stated so is the tuniq tower, however this can vary due to the case size. (i.e. will it fit)

Fans again depends on the case some come pre installed others don't.

reason for the gigabyte : DDR2 + DDR 3 :? meaning i wont have to upgrade when DDR3 comes cheap
+ supports 45nm processors :D
 
Fair play, however if you are trying to compromise for the next batch of cpu's why not wait till they are out, can't be long now and just buy a purpose built 45nm motherboard?

cus they'll probably be like DDR3 n i think i wont be able to upgrade my CPU for another year maybe? depending on a few things :(
this board's unstable, random blue screens and tested my mem etc in a different pc no problems :/ a lot of bios problems aswell
going to run as long as possible on my E6600 i think :)
