Upgrade to 290x

Does it struggle in any of the games you currently play? Does it not run the graphics settings that you want?

I would say that it's worth it, £125 is a steal for a 290X.
 
290X will hold well at 1080p and also gets quite a bit overclock.
Drivers have matured with the card, and is significantly faster nowadays than two years ago when came out.

A very worthwhile upgrade, though as stated avoid the reference model. At the time of release I would've gone for a 290X instead of a 780 had 3rd party models been available when I was looking to buy.
 
i would upgrade for that price....just a word of warning if you are looking to watercool then i would have a re-think as ive bought a 290 for the same price and im struggling to get a water block and driving me mad
 
for that price yeah, ya will get about 50% extra performance, i went from 7950s which overclocked a lot higher than these 290xs but its still a decent upgrade.
