i7 6700k (Oc'd as per the guide to 4.5Ghz)
16GB (2x8GB) Corsair Vengeance 3200Mhz
GTX 980Ti (Gigabyte Windforce)
I use the rig daily for work (as a games artist/designer 3D & 2D work) as well as gaming. It's been running fine but I will be looking to build something new hopefully later this year.
Only bottleneck I have atm is RAM 16GB seems to be pretty low now with the apps I often have to have open, so looking to upgrade it. Dont think OCUK have a 2x8gb pack available atm at this speed, but have found one at a discounted price at my local supplier.
I understand it will only run at dual channel at this board, but just wondering if anyone knew if this board would be fine with it, and if there are any changes I would have to make to the OC guide above? Its mainly about capacity for now, so not looking for any real gaming performance improvements.
Any advice greatly appreciated!
