Specs:

Intel core i7 2600 3.4Ghz (Cooled with Gelid GX7)
6gb Ram
MSI HD 6850
2x 500gb Sata hdd
Zalman Z9 Plus with fan controller with 3x120mm intake 1x120mm extract
Foxconn H67MP motherboard
Corsair Builder Series CX 430W V2

at load system runs at:
Ambient 21 degrees load
GPU 55-63 load
CPU 63 Tmax prime 95

Ive been using the build for gaming, mainly battlefield 3 and GTA 4. Ive noticed these games are VERY playable on medium-high in 1920x1080. BUT i just feel as if i could have invested slightly more in my graphics card..

would my motherboard happily take an upgrade to this card?
what card would you recommend as an upgrade? budget roughly 150-220£
would my power supply need to be upgraded to support this?

edit: Would 2gm more ram help =)?

i feel like my power supply is slightly overloaded at the moment with the current setup but it may be my imagination.. it seems like the case fans are running slower than normal. I am unsure tho!

thank you =)

Would the 7850 give a good enough boost in performance to play BF3 on ultra at a happy 40-50fps?

Im not really into overclocking yet, i know ill need to upgrade my motherboard. Is there a chance this mobo is bottlenecking my GPU? or does it not even work that way? xD

i think ill order both to be honest... ill throw an SSD in for good measure :/ roll on payday!! haha

Do you think the motherboard will handle it? I know its a cheap crappy motherboard!

what resolution do you play bf3 at? tbh the 7850 is capable, good thing about that card is the lower power draw, but if you wanted the 7950 youd have to upgrade the psu, your mb should handle it fine
