I bought a bundle some time ago:
i5 2500 3.3Ghz
Corsair CMX4GX3M2A1600C9 XMS3 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 1600 Mhz CL9 x 2 (8GB via 4 2GB sticks)
Gigabyte P67A-UD4-B3
The bundle is overclocked to 4.4GHz, which is great! The problem is I'm starting to find the 8GB ram restrictive, so would like to upgrade but without needing to adjust the overclock, if possible.
There is a CMX8GX3M2A1600C9 kit which seems like a safe upgrade, but the latency seems to be 9-9-9-27 instead of 9-9-9-24 on the 4GB kit.
Is it safe to go with that or is there a better choice?
Many thanks!
