Hi Everyone,
Currently I have a Dell Precision T3500
The Specs are:
Processor: Dual Xeon E5520
Hard Drives: 2x 300gb 10,000 rpm 2.5" drives and 1x 500gb 7,200rpm 3.5" Drive
Graphics Card: ASUS EAH5450 Series (512mb with core clock @ 650MHz)
Ram: 6GB DDR3

I'm not sure what else you's will need but i'm wondering what i can change in this pc that will make it a good gaming computer to play high end games.
I would aslo like to add liquid cooling if someone would be able to tell me how i could do that or even if it is possible or needed with my PC

Thanks everyone

erm or maybe not :o
we need to know how much space you have in your case for a gfx card and if its a standard atx power supply etc

and erm budget ><

Sorry but by PSU do you mean Power supply?
I THINK mine is over 500w haha
500W PSU don't mean much if it is not a decent unit. Unbranded generic 500W PSU often can't even deliver a stable 200W over the 12v rail (which is used for the highest power consumption parts such as CPU and graphic card). You best check what PSU it is first.

I'll try have a look what power supply I have, I think it's just standard to the PC though, and Mei, I have plenty of space for a graphics card, it's a rather nig case :D and as for budget, if it's just a graphics card i need i'm think between 150 and 200 quid or will i need more for a decent gaming card?

nah its a good amount to spend i think
id go with a 660 but a 7850 is good too
the size of the psu is important incase they recommend you replace it
so grab a ruler^^ :)
measure how much gfx card space u have too

Right, it's a Dell standard power supply and this is what dell have to say about it:
Power Consumption
Power Supply5
525W 85%
525W
AC Input Voltage Range
100-240V
100-240V
AC Input Current (low AC range/high AC range)
4.62A
6.7A
AC Input Frequency

And Mei, what makes are them cards?

And as my PC is in an awkward place and getting it out requires unplugging it and i'm using it to talk to you guys, I have grabbed a picture off the internet which is exactly like mine, hope it helps

Under the HHDs is where the RAM, Processors and cooling fans are, I could try grab a picture with the HDD flap open if you need it

Upgrading the CPU could be challenging, as it seem to only use server type CPU not consumer level ones:
http://www.dell.com/uk/business/p/precision-t3500/pd
Intel® Xeon® 6-Core (W3690, W3670)
Intel® Xeon® Quad Core (W3565, W3550, W3530)
Intel® Xeon® Dual Core (W3505, W3503)

So you either have to stick with your current dual-core CPU (which can be a limitation in the latest games), or you have to upgrade the platform.

It is likely that if you want "good" gaming performance, the only thing you'd be keeping is DVD Writer, the HDDs and possibly the RAMs (and MAY BE the case). If you are can accept only "ok" level of gaming performance, I think you would probably just need to add a 7750 to your current system (and hopefully the PSU should handle it consider the 7750 only consume 44W max according to review).

Mine isn't a Dual Core, by Dual Xeon, I meant it's a quad core Dual Xeon. Dell describe it as a 4 cores with 8 threads but on any programs that detect how many cores I have all of them say i have 8 cores
