Gelix GX7 CPU cooler
6GB DDR3 Ram unbranded 1333Mhz
MSI ATI HD 6850 Stock
Windows 8.1 Professional
Asus Xonar DSX 7.1 surround sound card
OCZ - agility 128gb SSD
2TB HDD
Corsair Builder Series CX430 V2

Peripherals

Acer 24" 1080p monitor
AOC 24" 1080p monitor
Creative 7.1 surround sound system
Razer death adder gaming mouse
Roccat gaming keyboard
Cosair gaming H2100 7.1 surround wireless gaming headset

I know the 2600 has plenty of life left in it and is comparable in speed to most of the modern day i5's just not in terms of power consumpsion. Im not too fussed by that, The power supply i think is on the slightly low side if i was considering a GFX card upgrade.

Im getting a "playable" FPS on battlefield 4 when in medium settings anything higher than its a bit iffy, Some recent games are playing without too much bother but im worried about the newer games coming out, I.e. GTA 5 etc

Ive been thinking about the following:

The case is a Zalman z9, would these new components fit? or do you have any other suggestions. they would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Yes, you just need to change the GFX card and then add a suitable PSU.

I was going to suggest this - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-273-MS&groupid=701&catid=56&subcat=1752

But its apparently too long for your case.
