Upgrade to sky+

I have just phoned Sky and they are quoting me £250 to
come out and upgrade my box / LMB , unless i take out
multiroom and pay another £10 a month.

Anyone know if this sounds right as it sounds very expensive to me!

wtf? 4 port LNB (Low Noise Block, not LMB) for £80?! I pay £15 per LNB (they're not the best quality (raven) but well, in the UK the signal is nice and strong anyway).

CT63 cable (the shotgun cable which is 2 lengths of coax in the same width of one piece of ct100) is pretty cheap too (about 75p/metre). Buy a sky+ box on ebay and you'll have a fully working set up for under £100. Took me about an hour to rip the old coax off the wall, replace with the ct63 (20m run) and replace the LNB. Not a hard job at all

is it really that easy?
